GOSA Visits Paulding County Fair
The Paulding County Fair kicked off the 2021 Ohio fair season in grand fashion with mostly sunny skies and eager crowds ready to enjoy the festivities. GOSA visited the fair to check in with members operating at the event.
Longtime GOSA members Doug & Deb Hanefeld, owners of D&D Putting and Amusements Inc., provided the rides, mini-golf course, and several food concessions. Fair sponsors paid for the rides to operate free of charge on weekdays from 1pm – 5pm which helped build daytime attendance.
Cheryl & Ron Downey operate Triple D Concession. Cheryl serves on the GOSA membership committee and enjoys the comradery GOSA provides for members throughout the year. Make sure you try their Donut Burger, a culinary delight beyond compare!
Debbie Grenko along with her husband John had an array of clean family games set-up along with their pony ride operation. Debbie pointed out she only pays
Barry Hassinger was operating one of his concession trailers at the event. Barry has several business ventures but shared his favorite is the concession business, and he is happy to see fairs and festivals back in business.
Jerry Price was still in Florida but multiple Fiske Concession units were spotted, including his world famous French fry operation.
